  Flight instructors are authorized by the FAA to provide flight instruction to new pilots and pilots requiring additional certificates/ratings. Flight Instructors can also complete flight reviews and recommend flight tests for students. As a CFI, you must be at least 18 years of age, and hold a valid commercial pilot certificate & IFR rating.
